This phrase acquires a true colour when one goes around the lanes of Delhi. Day 02 : Delhi : After breakfast explore a city where dreams comes to reality. While touring Delhi, you will experience a blend of ancient well preserved monuments like Qutab Minar, Red Fort, jama Masjid, and passing by President's House, Parliament House and Connaught Place shopping center. Also visit to Raj Ghat and Shanti Van - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Evening walk through narrow streets of Chandi Chock the old shopping market in Delhi and tasting its chaats. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Khajuraho : After the breakfast, drop at railway station to boar train for Khajuraho via Jhansi on arrival at Jhansi railway station , our executive would assist you to Khajuraho and check into your hotel. We will visit Mahoba capital of Khajuraho where we will visit 22 temples. In Khajuraho we will visits its beautiful arcitecture in temples. After sight seeing you will have your lunch and drive to Jhansi Station tp boar train for Agra. On arrival at Agra railway station, our executive would assist you to check in hotel. Khajuraho, once the great Chandela capital, is today a village of about a few thousand people in the interiors of central India, in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Tradition records the existence of eighty five temples, of which only twenty five, strewn amidst lakes and fields, have survived. The temples at Khajuraho, brilliant examples of medieval Indian architecture, were built under later Chandela kings between AD 950 and AD 1050. Each ancient structure in India has a fascinating story to tell. But few match the temples of Khajuraho. After taj mahal the Agra Fort built in red sandstone with its magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and the beautiful gardens. The visit of Agra fort is must since so many historical incidents took place here. Evening wWe have planned a visit to a marble factory where you can see the beautiful inlay work of precious and semi precious stones. After lunch we will depart for Bharatpur, late afternoon check in hotel, in evening we go for a Bird Sanctuary visit to catch the birds into the cameras while going into their nests. Agra is famous as the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World -the Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved consort Mumtaz Mahal. This beautiful mausoleum took 22 years to complete with a work force of 20,000 craftsmen and master builders, who came from all over Asia to join in this great work from Baghdad, Shiraz, Delhi, Samarkand and Turkey. Agra was their capital for nearly a hundred years from 1564. A pleasant town, with a comparatively easy pace, Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by artisans who are hereditary craft persons. The city is also famous for its carpets, gold thread embroidery and leather shoes.
